Fully open access, this platform presents a ranked list of institutions based on a composite indicator that brings together three key dimensions: research performance, innovation outputs, and societal impact (measured through web visibility). It also features a collection of infographics that illustrate how each institution performs and how these factors have evolved over time, making comparisons easy and insightful.

- An annual ranking calculated based on the results of a five-year period, ending two years prior to the ranking’s release
- A standarization tool that uniquely identifies institutions from Scopus affiliations, accurately assigning publications and citations to each author.
FUNCTIONALITIES
- Enables visualization of data by combining any of the three factors.
- Trends of individual indicators can be compared for up to six institutions
- For each institution, the change in its factor is tracked from the time it entered the ranking.
- Distribution charts of diverse indicators can be obtained for each major sector
- Institutions can be grouped by the countries and/or sectors to which they belong
- Offers a set of infographics to analyze the scientific performance of institutions from various perspectives
- Supplementary information is available to help less specialized users interpret the graphs and understand their values
- Supplementary information is provided to assist non-specialist users in interpreting the graphs and understanding their data
- All ranking data can be downloaded in an Excel format
